We currently have a vacancy for an Technical Writer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Luxembourg, Luxembourg. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.Your tasks
  • Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of each product and its documentation requirements;
  • Create and maintain the overall information architecture of our developer documentation site;
  • Ensure that other contributors of documentation texts are aligned in writing style, completeness of content, and fitness for purpose with our quality standards and overall goals;
  • Ensure that created documentation meets the needs of its intended audience;
  • Analyze existing and potential content to identify gaps or duplications and take corrective actions;
  • Prepare, review, enhance training material or give training courses on information systems;
  • Translate business analysts input to information consumable by the end-user.
Requirements
  • University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 13 years of relevant working experience in IT;
  • Working experience in technical writing for software documentation;
  • Excellent knowledge in the following technologies used for documentation process: Antora and Github Actions;
  • Excellent knowledge in the following technologies used for the documentation process: AsciiDoc and Git;
  • Ability to clearly grasp complex technical concepts and explain them in clear and simple terms using text and diagrams;
  • Capability to write clear and structured technical documents;
  • Ability to give business and technical presentations;
  • Experience in software engineering would be a strong asset;
  • Excellent command of the English language.
