As a family-owned company with an international reach, we combine agility with the strength of a worldwide industrial group.📍 Position based in Lintgen, LuxembourgA relocation is planned this year to our brand-new Industry 4.0 plant in Bissen, a state-of-the-art facility designed to enhance both team well-being and industrial performance.💼 Your mission: drive technical product developmentAs part of the Engineering team, you will contribute to the design, development, and validation of mechanical systems, from early concept and prototyping to industrialization and certification.You will play a key role in delivering reliable, high-performance technical solutions while supporting innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.Key responsibilitiesDesign & developmentContribute to the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies from prototype to productionDevelop CAD models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawingsPerform engineering calculations related to flow dynamics, component capacity, and mechanical strengthTesting & validationSupport system prototyping and laboratory testing campaigns (setup, execution, data analysis, reporting)Participate in defining testing procedures and ensure compliance with international standards and certificationsRisk assessment & technical supportProvide technical expertise during FMEA sessions and risk assessmentsCollaborate closely with engineering, laboratory, sales, and cross-functional teams to deliver projects on timeSupplier & certification interfaceEngage with suppliers and external partners to ensure quality of critical componentsPrepare technical documentation and manage approval and certification processes with relevant authoritiesInnovation & continuous improvementContinuously propose new technical solutions and contribute to product innovationSupport the development of advanced mechanical technologies🛠 Required technical skillsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of R&D engineering experience (mechanical design, hydraulics, or fluid systems experience is an asset)Strong expertise in mechanical design and modelingProficiency in CAD software (Siemens NX or equivalent)Solid knowledge of engineering calculations (capacity, pressure drop, strength analysis)Experience with laboratory testing, data acquisition, and analysisKnowledge of industry standards and certification processesProficiency in Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365Fluent English (additional languages are beneficial)Availability to travel for product development and testing activities✅ Personal skillsAnalytical mindset with the ability to solve complex engineering problemsTeam-oriented approach with strong collaboration and communication skillsHigh level of attention to detail and commitment to engineering excellenceCuriosity, creativity, and drive for innovationAbility to manage priorities in a dynamic technical environment✨ What makes this role uniqueA key role in the development of advanced mechanical products used globallyDirect involvement in full product lifecycle, from concept and testing to certification and productionHands-on participation in prototyping and lab testing campaignsA highly technical and innovative environment within an international industrial groupThe opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge solutions in a new Industry 4.0 facilityWhat you will find at RotarexThe strength of a global industrial group combined with an agile, human-sized organizationA collaborative and international engineering environmentReal opportunities for technical development and career growthA modern working environment in a state-of-the-art production siteAttractive benefits and flexible working conditions📢 Only applications submitted through our official application process will be consideredAll applications will be treated with the strictest confidentiality👉 Looking for a new challenge?
