- Responsible for the day-to-day fund level accounting, consolidation and financial reporting functions for Luxembourg real estate funds.
- Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and other client reporting.
- Supervision and coordination of all quarterly and annual reporting requirements and due dates to be delivered by the fund controller.
- Prepare financial statements (income statements, balance sheets and various other accounting statements).
- Prepare and coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
- Coordinate quarterly VAT package and CIT/MBT/NWT/WHT returns in cooperation with external tax advisor.
- Supporting due diligence and sales process.
- Review bank reconciliations, cash management and cashflow forecasts.
- Review the trial balances and financial data prepared by more Junior members.
- Aggregate financial data on Portfolio level.
- Coordinate the independent audit.
- Prepare files for audit and SOC requirements as well as answer any outstanding questions.
- Prepare financial input for quarterly Board meetings and attend as well.
- Create and complete financial and management reports for clients/investors and other interested parties.
- Read and interpret contracts, legal documents, and other agreements. Ability to record complex business transactions in the general ledger.
- Coordinate the reporting process across various functions, funds and geographies to ensure timely and well organized completion of reporting process.
- Periodic report to the regulator (CSSF / BCL / AIFMD).
- Coordinate and execute investors' capital contributions, redemptions and distributions.
- Prepare calculation of Management fees, Fund rebates and Carried interest.
- Prepare Investors statements.
- Assistance to ad hoc project and Group initiatives.
- Graduated from higher vocational training (Bachelor) or university (Master) specializing in finance, such as business economics or accountancy, preferred CPA/ACCA/CA or equivalent.
- Experience with preparation of periodic and annual financial reports and annual audit processes.
- Practical experience with consolidation and tax returns, in particular VAT and income tax (preferable Luxembourg VAT and CIT/MBT/NWT/NWT).
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, such as IFRS and Lux Gaap.
- Certified Accountant qualifications in relevant jurisdictions.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing (whereas knowledge of any other language can be an advantage).
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), IFRS, INREV
- Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles.
- Able to forecast and prepare budgets.
