To support and continuously improve the reliability and performance of these facilities, our Central Maintenance Team plays a critical role.We are now looking for a Building Technical Specialist with expertise in Building Management Systems (BMS) and automation to strengthen our central maintenance (back-office) team. You will contribute directly to enhancing operational maintenance activities (front office) by improving monitoring, automation, and system reliability.Your roleYou will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and evolution of automation, control, and supervision systems across various technical domains (HVAC, lighting, electrical systems, technical alarms).Development & Optimization
  • Develop, configure, and maintain the multisite TOPKAPI (AREAL) SCADA platform
  • Centralize existing SCADA interfaces under one unified system (TOPKAPI)
  • Monitor emerging technologies to propose innovative automation solutions
Reliability & Compliance
  • Optimize the regulation of installations to align with technical standards and energy efficiency goals
  • Enhance the reliability of communications between BMS/SCADA and PLCs, focusing on alarm transmission, redundancy, UPS and IT/OT segregation
  • Diagnose and follow up on control issues in coordination with external contractors
Maintenance & Data Management
  • Configure and centralize alarms (prioritization, transmission, labelling)
  • Archive and manage up-to-date automation programs (PLC, KNX, etc.)
  • Maintain databases for setpoints, thresholds, and control variables
Support & Training
  • Provide technical support and training for internal teams and service providers
  • Serve as the main liaison with the IT department regarding network configurations for BMS and automation systems
Project Involvement
  • Contribute to the design and development of control and supervision systems for new buildings or facilities
  • Participate in occasional commissioning and system validation
  • Draft documentation such as functional analyses and user manuals
Additional Contributions
  • Participate in drafting maintenance contracts and supporting CMMS implementation
  • Integrate energy efficiency, sustainability, and safety considerations into all activities
Your profileEducation
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in Automation, Control Engineering, Industrial Engineering, BMS Engineering, or related field
Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience with BMS, automation, SCADA, and supervision systems
  • Ideally experienced in regulated and high-tech environments (labs, clean rooms, animal facilities)
Technical Skills
  • BMS & SCADA: Proficient in SCADA platforms, especially TOPKAPI (AREAL)
  • Automation: Skilled in PLC programming (Saia, Siemens, Sauter), with protocols such as KNX, Modbus, BACnet, OPC
  • Networking: Solid grasp of industrial network architecture, including redundancy, UPS, and segregation of IT and operational networks
  • Tools & Languages: Javascript, XML, JSON; HVAC control systems knowledge; familiarity with cybersecurity
  • Assets: Experience with PCVue, WinCC, TROX/Irian software, IIS, SQL databases

Languages
  • French: C1 level
  • English: A2-B1 level
