Support, resolution, advice on technical matters:Analysis of complex technical subjects related to Alternative Investment Funds, including:
  • Understanding of accounting standards, primarily LuxGAAP, USGAAP, UKGAAP, and IFRS;
  • Mastery of the entire Net Asset Value (NAV) calculation process, including a deep understanding of both investor and custodian operations;
  • Standard and non-standard modeling of Waterfall/NAV per share;
  • Standard and non-standard modeling of Management Fees and other variable fees;
  • Analysis and understanding of legal documentation surrounding Alternative Fund structures;
  • Understanding of setups/structures in the Alternative sector.
Preparation of technical notes/memos on the most complex subjects to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness.Responsibility for formalizing standards, best practices, methodologies, and business/technical expertise related to your field.Providing support and technical expertise to operational teams.Carrying out operational activities if necessary.Reporting to higher management, highlighting alerts/blockers.Legal monitoring/communication on regulatory, legal, and accounting developments.Being the escalation point with management and overseeing overall team relations.Training
  • Upskills colleagues in their line of business on their area of expertise;
  • Conducts training sessions to support the development of colleagues in their line of business, especially newcomers;
  • Incorporates a coaching approach into their work methods to support operational teams.
