We move quickly, think boldly, and trust each other to challenge the norm, learning and growing as we go.If you're looking for more than just your next job - if you want to build something impactful with a talented team - you're in the right place.What you'll be doingAs a MiFID/MiCA Expert, you'll act as a subject matter expert within our Investment firm and play a key role in ensuring our compliance with all applicable regulations, with a primary focus on MiFID II and MiCA across all investment offerings. You will be focusing on the following main areas of responsibility:Compliance and Risk Management FrameworkSupport the Head of the Compliance department in implementing and maintaining a robust Compliance Monitoring Programme to ensure adherence to all applicable regulations. Perform second-line of defence controls, identifying risks associated with existing and new investment products, and providing high-impact recommendations.Lead "horizon scanning" to translate complex regulatory shifts into actionable business strategies.Assist in maintaining a robust framework of policiesSupport future license extension processes and play a key role in defining our regulatory roadmap as we expand our activities.Act as a trusted advisor - Partner directly with the Authorised Management and Product teams to provide expert guidance on business impacts and product development.Reporting - Support in drafting regular reports on Compliance matters to the Authorised Management and Board of Directors. Support in timely and accurate regulatory reporting, including the CSSF annual questionnaire on financial crime.Interaction with regulators and auditors - Support interactions with regulators and auditors on matters related to investment servicesExpect challenges, collaboration, and the freedom to bring your ideas to life. Does this sound like you?Compliance experience - 3-8 years in a regulated financial institution (e.g., bank, EMI, PI, MiFID investment firm, ManCo, or VASP), with hands-on exposure to MiFID II and/or MiCA, in Luxembourg or Europe.Regulatory knowledge - a deep understanding of European and Luxembourgish regulatory frameworks applicable to investment firms (including MiFID II, MiCA, MiCAR), with the ability to translate MiFID II/MiCAR and local laws into operations; direct exposure to audits and regulatory inspections is a strong plus.AML/CFT proficiency - Solid knowledge of financial crime prevention, including transaction monitoring and international financial sanctions.Tech-forward thinking - A genuine interest in Fintech and virtual assets, with comfort operating in technology-driven environmentsCuriosity and autonomy - A natural drive to stay ahead of the curve as the digital asset world evolves. Highly organised and able to work independently, with a proactive "owner" mentality.Excellent communication and writing skills - Fluency in English with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, concise guidance for non-compliance stakeholders.Don't worry if you don't tick every box.
