Managing 28.5 $bn spend worldwide we are providing efficient and reliable services to internal customers.Industrial Services & Spare Parts covers 10% of this spend being present at 8 sites (plants) in 5 countries (Spain, Germany, France, Poland and Belgium).V.I.E Contracts are only open for EU citizen from 18 to 28 years old.We are looking for a V.I.E Maintenance & Repairs Buyer to join our teams in Luxembourg.About the role- Actively participate in the strategic procurement activities for Maintenance & Repair Services subcategory within the spend of Europe- Build transparency of subcategory spend and develop digital tools for improve efficiency.- Work closely with internal customers and logistics people in sites to endure effective strategic procurement and business continuity across- Work closely with Lead Buyers and logistics people in conducting research on supply markets, price benchmarks, and supplier profilesKey Responsibilities- Execute supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting for the mills/sites- Develop data analysis tools to improve and take advantage of innovation and productivity gains- Develop and maintain supplier profiles: Manage Supplier relationship and monitor contract compliance- Deliver savings and subcategory KPI targets and assist Lead Buyer with necessary analyses:Spend data analysis and basic financial analysesPerformance reportingCategory strategy development (e.g., supply market research, price benchmarks)Supplier profile maintenance- Achieve effective procurement and business continuity by cooperation with internal customers across sites- Participate in transversal working groups and projectsYour profileYou hold a Master's degree in Economics, Engineering or Supply Chain.As a genuine buyer, you have problem-solving and analytical skills and a good ease facing numbers.You have a good technical knowledge of contracts and targeted systems but also in project management and negotiation.You are at ease with data analysis tools and their development.You combine a strong personality/leadership and communication skills with an appetite for finding information on innovative industry trends and for market analysis.Result and Customer oriented, you are able to work under deadline pressure and to manage the change.You are fluent in English.
