Task Responsibilities:The main responsibilities of the Composite Repair Shop Technician is to repair, overhaul, and modify composite components in the shop and on the aircraft. Some of the tasks include:
  • Accomplish composite repairs using wet-lay-up, hot-bonding and metal-to-metal bonding processes.
  • Coordinate the ongoing tasks with other team members.
  • Assist in creating tools and fixtures to accomplish and facilitate repairs.
  • Operate shop tooling and equipment according to the approval and training received.
Essential Requirements For The Position:
  • At least a technical diploma as industrial mechanic (CATP/ DAP or equivalent)
  • At least five years experience in composite repairs, preferably in aviation
  • Good understanding of drawings, manuals and composite repair methods
  • Ability to work independently
  • Comfortable to work at height
  • Good computer knowledge in the MS Office programms
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
Working Conditions:
  • Full-time position, based in Luxembourg
  • Shift work as per the shop working schedule (two-shift-schedule)
  • Regular and full-time presence required, vacations and other absences to be planned respecting shop needs
  • Occasional travel may be required and remunerated in accordance with our Collective Work Agreement
