- Leads the annual Group budget process, including the definition of guidelines, planning calendar, coordination with subsidiaries, consolidation and quality assurance of figures.
- Coordinates Group monthly financial reporting, including actual vs budget analysis.
- Leads the monthly business reviews for the Luxembourg entities in close collaboration with the controlling team and operations.
- Supports the statutory audits and contributes to the continuous improvement of controlling procedures, tools and governance.
- Coordinates group product costing methodologies, including standard costing, actual costing analysis and production variance analysis in SAP S/4 environment.
- Leads the plant controlling for Luxembourg manufacturing entities and support Operations through monthly review of P&L, ad hoc analysis on production efficiency, logistic flows improvements, and effective cost controls.
- Acts as a key business partner to Sales function by supporting pricing and margin calculations for industrial goods, customer-specific pricing logic and profitability analysis.
- Acts as group reference for inventory accounting and valuation, including slow-moving and obsolete stock analysis, cycle counting, definition and application of Group valuation rules, WIP monitoring and inventory turnover analysis.
- Ownership and governance of SKU-related master data impacting FI/CO in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring the consistency and correctness of valuation classes, standard and moving average prices, accounting and controlling views.
- Leads, coaches and develops a controlling team (4-5 headcounts) based in Luxembourg, ensuring strong expertise, continuity and proximity to the Group's core industrial activities (evaluation, coaching, training).
- Supports subsidiaries, promoting best practices, methodological alignment and a strong financial controlling culture. Acting as a senior finance counterpart, the position maintains close relationships with plant managers and local finance managers across the Group.
- Works harmoniously in close cooperation with other senior finance managers, including Group Accounting Manager and Group Tax Manager.
- Supports the CFO and finance director in carrying out duties of the position.
- Owns SAP Controlling (CO) module within S/4 HANA and plays a key role in upcoming SAP rollouts, with full responsibility for CO design, integration and alignment with Group controlling standards.
- Ensures strong cross-module integration with FI, MM, PP and SD, drives continuous improvement of end-to-end finance and controlling processes and supports the development of modern management reporting using SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI.
- Promotes the use of AI-enabled tools and automation in controlling, such as advanced analytics, anomaly detection and data quality improvements.
- Proven experience in leading senior finance professionals and operating in complex, matrix manufacturing organizations is required.
- The role requires advanced SAP S/4 HANA expertise, with CO as a mandatory skill and strong cross-module understanding of FI, MM, PP and SD.
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI is preferred, while exposure to AI or a strong interest in applying AI to finance and controlling is considered a plus.
- Fluency in English and French is required; German is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills required.
