UniCredit International Bank (Luxembourg) S.A. offers a position as IT Application Specialist (OLYMPIC) on a permanent contract, reporting to ICT Department Head, to start as soon as possible.Core responsibilities:
- Manage the core banking system from end-to-end as senior developer
- Develop, lead and troubleshoot the Olympic system
- Estimate timelines and technical efforts for planning purposes
- Application development, modification, and maintenance of Olympic
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers
- Responsibility for assigned applications
- Second and third level support
- Upgrade and enhancement of the applications
- Consulting for the business departments using the applications
- Testing of the applications
- Documentation of the applications
- IT projects
- Creation of IT solution out of business requirements
- Implementation of IT solution
- Testing
- Documentation
- Cooperation with external partners
- Cooperation with the internal project manager
- Managing the IT part of the projects
- Proven experience and knowledge in the following areas:
- OLYMPIC core banking system (Eri Bancaire)
- Development Languages: COBOL, SQL, PL/SQL
- UNIX/RHEL operating systems including scripting languages in ksh, sh
- Database: Oracle, DB2 IBM iSeries AS/400
- Basic Windows Knowledge (scripting Powershell)
- Knowledge of Invoke products (Fas, Explore) would be an asset
- Experience of at least 5-7 years within the banking industry is mandatory
- Understanding of technical processes in general
- Service-oriented and well-organized team player
- Willingness to go for new challenges
- Ability and appetite to work in an international and intercultural environment
- Proficiency in English is mandatory, French or Italian will be an asset
