- Collaborate with team members to design and develop efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Demonstrate code ownership through active participation in code reviews, SonarQube quality checks, and adherence to COSMOS best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing services by identifying opportunities for optimisation.
- Write unit and integration tests to increase confidence during development and deployment.
- Use GitLab CI/CD pipelines and scripting to automate code deployment, validation, and analysis.
- Propose and implement automation to streamline deployment, configuration, security, and monitoring activities.
- Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approaches for repeatable and reliable environments.
- Work closely with architects, system administrators, and fellow developers to ensure smooth integration and interoperability.
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, retrospectives).
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, community activities, and continuous improvement within the squad.
- Produce and maintain clear technical documentation for code, pipelines, scripts, and configurations.
- Ensure knowledge transfer and long‑term maintainability of the platform.
- Strong hands‑on AWS experience (mandatory).
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, AWS CDK.
- CI/CD: GitLab pipelines.
- Solid understanding of IT security principles.
- Advanced experience with Git, Python, TypeScript.
- Practical experience with modern IDEs (VS Code, IntelliJ).
- Experience in AI development, including agentic approaches.
- Hands‑on exposure to AI tools for developers, such as:
- Amazon Q
- Kiro
- Claude
- Coding assistants and AI agents
- Experience delivering AI-enabled solutions at scale is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with ITIL or similar service management frameworks.
- 5–10 years of experience as a Developer.
- Proven experience working in a collaborative, agile environment.
- Community management, support, or technical communication experience is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Proactive mindset with a strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Strong team player with a collaborative attitude.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- AWS certifications are required.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
