- Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy for all AMTB plants aligns with the AMTB's goals, incorporating benchmarking data to ensure best practices are followed.
- Supplier Selection: Identify new suppliers, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors who can provide the required goods and services at the best value, quality, and within established timelines.
- Cost Analysis: Consolidate demand of all plants, analyze and compare supplier quotes, negotiate terms and conditions, and ensure cost-effectiveness in all purchasing decisions.
- Budget Management: Collaborate with finance teams to manage budgets for both CAPEX and OPEX purchases, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial targets.
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, conducting performance evaluations and addressing any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Contract Management: Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
- Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels by monitoring stock levels, implementing efficient inventory control methods, and minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
- Coordination: Collaborate with different plants and departments and ArcelorMittal group purchasing function to ensure alignment of procurement activities, share best practices, and coordinate multi-site purchases efficiently.
- Multi-Site Purchase Supervision: Oversee and supervise procurement activities across multiple sites or locations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance with the organization's standards.
- SAP HANA Implementation: Actively participate in the implementation of the purchase process in SAP HANA, ensuring a smooth transition to this enterprise resource planning system and utilizing it to streamline procurement activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- 5 years or more experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a focus on CAPEX and OPEX purchases.
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and techniques.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools, especially SAP HANA.
- In-depth understanding of budget management and financial analysis.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
