You will be part of the local Compliance Team consisting of 4 team members and reporting to the responsible local Managing Director. \nWhat your work will look like:
  • You will oversee and manage the entire compliance framework, ensuring it meets the strict regulatory standards of Luxembourg and international standards relevant to PSPs.
  • You will identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, and develop/implement corrective action plans for resolution.
  • Ensuring that the organization complies with outside regulatory and legal requirements, as well as internal policies and by laws.
  • Working hand in hand with management and staff to identify and manage regulatory risk.
  • Having appropriate disciplinary measures in place in the event of a regulatory breach in order to avoid a future recurrence.
  • Maintaining open lines of communication with all relevant decision makers and stakeholders in order to keep all parties informed of regulatory changes.
  • Organizing regular training sessions for employees in order to efficiently communicate key regulatory changes and updates.
  • Ensuring standards through disciplinary policies to ensure the organization achieves and maintains government compliance.
  • Creating and implementing organizational policies, standards, and procedures to comply with applicable regulations.
  • Ensuring that the company is equipped with internal controls that adequately measure and manage the risks it faces.
What you need to be successful in this role:
  • Profound experience in the regulatory environment of Luxembourg, particularly concerning Payment Service Providers (PSPs), Compliance Risk Management, Compliance Monitoring and Regulatory Watch.
  • Deep understanding and expertise in global financial regulations and standards, with a focus on the Luxembourg regulatory landscape.
  • Ideally 3-5 years in a similar position or environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with both internal teams and external regulatory bodies.
  • Highly analytical mindset with the capability to identify and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Familiarity or previous experience working in a fast-paced fintech setup.
