Job DescriptionPURPOSE OF JOBJTCL introduced its full depositary services offering in 2019. The offering supports Regulated investment funds in the EU that are required to appoint a depositary to comply with the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD). The Depositary Administrator will work closely with the Assistant Depositary Managers in the team and provide them support to ensure we complete our depositary activities to a high standard and in line with department and client reporting deadlines.Main Responsibilities and Duties· Ensure daily cash flow monitoring of fund bank accounts is undertaken including downloading bank movements, loading them into the DEPOcheck system and sourcing/ recording back up before presenting the daily monitoring for manager review.· Review fund valuations and accounts as part of NAV Oversight obligations, in line with department defined timelines and procedures, to ensure they have been completed accurately and in accordance with the fund documentation.· Maintain asset registers and undertake procedures to verify the fund’s ownership of those assets.· Interact with colleagues, peers and superiors in a way that ensures that all depositary regulatory obligations are met productively.· Facilitate open communication with Depositary team members, other JTC departments client staff members to identify any potential issues/improvements.· Support the workflow of the team – including adherence to all mandatory training requirements and ensuring the department is operating to the highest standards.ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS· 1 to 2 years depositary / fund administration experience.· Knowledge of UCITS /AIFMD regulations.· Fluency in English Language (both verbal and written) essential.· Strong oral and written communication skills.· Excellent interpersonal skills with customer focus.· Strong organizational and administrative skills.· Individual who takes initiative and ownership of assigned responsibilities.· Positive ‘can do’ attitude with excellent problem-solving skills.· Detail-oriented.· Team player.· Ability to multi-task, prioritized work and manage time to maximize efficiency and to meet strict deadlines.· Flexible / Adaptable.· University degree, preferably in Accounting & Finance or Economics.
